This morning was one of the best yet. I’m almost out of the thick of It with my first full semester of grad school. And I’m happy with the people who I have around me. I’m in a good place. I’m putting the work in and finishing!
I keep seeing things about the power of the tongue and I feel like it is a sign. Not only for this but for me to take seriously and look into it fr.
I also met a man and this is the first time that I truly have met someone who likes me back. Someone I feel comfortable around. Someone who SPEAKS FROM A PLACE OF LOVE. ACTS FROM A PLACE OF LOVE. SEES ME AS A PLACE OF LOVE. Someone I speak openly about God with, wear my fro around both tamed and untamed , sing around, dance with, paint with, smiles with, and never leaves me to wonder where his emotions lie. Someone who meditates with me and speaks positive affirmations over me:
1. You are going to have a good day
2. You are going to work hard today
3. You are going to be happy today
4. You are going to be calm today
5. You are going to have a blessed day

We pick each others boogers in the shower, wash each others hair, and share music as currency. I feel like I’ve known you forever and at the same time I wonder why it took so long to get here. I wonder if you’re real. If this is real. I’m not in love yet but I do see the future when I look at you. Thank you baby nugget.
